The Octopus’ Lair

November 18, 2010

Because I’m about to do a post featuring some really unappealing food photos (hint: the post is called “Crying Over Spoiled Milk”), I thought I’d give you a little photo tour of my room, which functions much more as a kitchen/dining room than a sleeping space.

A lovely Wednesday morning with the Dining section of the New York Times and a sliced granny smith apple with the best peanut butter ever, sprinkled with cinnamon and Grapenuts. And iced coffee. Lots of iced coffee.

Stir-frying some broccoli to eat with leftover tofu and brown rice.

Don’t worry– I have another book shelf for actual books.

Please note the Dining sections plastered all over the walls.

Voila– proof that you can, in fact, cook in a dorm room and enjoy it.

Wow! What a great room. And the photos are so vivid and cunningly arranged. Lucette has brought you coke cans from LIBYA! That’s got to be a first!! Your fan.
